Strawberry Chocolate Fudge Grilled Cheese
Grilled cheese for dessert? You better believe it!
Ingredients:
Butter, softened
2 slices of white bread (or try brioche!)
1 ½ tablespoons of mascarpone cheese
Fresh strawberries, cut into bite sized pieces
1 tablespoon of our delicious creamy Original Fudge Kitchen Chocolate Fudge, cut into small pieces
Directions:
- Spread some butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the non-buttered side of one slice of bread, spread the mascarpone cheese and sprinkle the fresh strawberry pieces.
- Place the chocolate fudge pieces on top of the mascarpone cheese and strawberries.
- Place the other slice of bread on top so that the buttered side is facing outwards.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little more butter (this is where it gets really good!).
- Place the grilled cheese in the skillet and grill each side for 2-3 minutes, or until desired doneness is reached.
- Cut in half and enjoy!
